High Notes

World Class Moving Magnet Cartridges

With over 100 years of experience, Ortofon makes some of the best value cartridges on the planet. It's easy to see why the 2M Red and 2M Blue are the choice of so many turntable manufacturers

Split Pole Technology

This patented technology gives you flatter frequency response and much great extension on the frequency extremes while maintaining accurate phase between the channels

Universal Mounting

Whether you need a standard mount, P-Mount, or a vintage under-mount, all of the 2M models are available in any configuration to fit your turntable

Quickly and Easily Replace the Worn-out Stylus on your 2M Bronze Replacing the stylus on a 2M series Ortofon cartridge is simplicity itself. Gently slide the black plastic part of the cartridge forward (it's a press fit) until it slides off. Then, reverse the process with the new stylus. Once fully seated, your new 2M stylus is ready for action, no further adjustments are required. The 2M Bronze features a nude Fine Line diamond stylus.

Features

  • The 2M Bronze features a Nude Fine Line diamond, which is particularly suited for demanding applications. The slim profile of the Fine Line stylus will track even the highest frequency information, making it a must for discerning listeners. Additionally, its larger footprint ensures reduced distortion and record wear.
  • The cartridge body is manufactured from Hopelex, an environment-friendly material that ensures high rigidity while eliminating unwanted resonances.
  • The 2M Bronze uses a special upgraded engine, featuring split pole pins with silver-plated copper wire.

Ortofon have optimized the design for ease of mounting the cartridge, and the weight and size to fit the most common turntables on the market today. The 2M Series provides excellent compatibility when used in an assortment of playback systems and with a wide variety of phono preamps.
