Dolby Atmos is a surround sound format that creates a three-dimensional soundstage, giving the listener the feeling that they are surrounded by the sound. This was especially evident during the concert, as the sound of Sheeran's voice and the music seemed to come from all around the listener.

The use of Dolby Atmos also made the concert feel more intimate. The sound of Sheeran's voice was so clear and close that it felt like he was singing right in your ear. This was especially effective during the more personal songs, such as "Perfect" and "Boat."

Sheeran performed a mix of songs from his latest album, "Subtract," as well as some of his biggest hits. The audience was clearly enjoying the show, singing along and dancing in the aisles.

The concert was a huge success, and it's a great example of how Dolby Atmos can be used to enhance a live music experience. If you can watch a concert in Dolby Atmos, I highly recommend it.

Here are some of the ways that Dolby Atmos was used in the Ed Sheeran concert:

  • The sound of Sheeran's voice was placed in the center of the soundstage, giving it a sense of depth and presence.
  • The music was spread out around the soundstage, creating a sense of space and atmosphere.
  • The sound effects were placed in specific locations around the soundstage, adding realism and excitement to the performance.
