Carbon Black Xbox Series S with 1TB of Storage Coming Sept. 1st

Coming September 1st this year, Microsoft will release a new version of the super popular Xbox Series S. The original Xbox Series S comes in white and retails for $299. Xbox Chief Phil Spencer announced at their latest event that the new Xbox Series S will come in a carbon black color which to us, looks super sleek and definitely hides away much easier. In addition to the new black color, it will have 1TB of internal storage instead of the 512 GB featured in the original Series S.

This is great news for those of you who are looking to get an Xbox for your AV rack and want something thinner than the Series X, but not something that stands out as much as the original white version Series S. It also will allow you to store more of your games and movies directly on the Xbox instead of worrying about attaching extra hard drives.

This new version is a welcome addition to the Microsoft lineup of video game consoles. At only $349, this might be a smart option for you, especially as gaming consoles have become an amazing way to watch your content as well as play your video games all from one source.
