Overview

Engineered with an eight point six inch carbon fiber tonearm, precision belt drive, and a heavy steel platter, this deck secures pitch stability for any dedicated sound system setup. An included Ortofon built Pick it S2 MM cartridge ensures clean, detailed vinyl playback straight from the box.

The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Original manual turntable brings together purpose built mechanical engineering and clean analog reproduction. At the heart of the system sits an eight point six inch one piece carbon fiber tonearm mounted in a solid aluminum bearing assembly. By uniting the arm tube and headshell into a single structure, the arm eliminates unwanted vibrational boundaries while keeping mass low and stiffness high. A TPE damped counterweight actively absorbs tonearm and cartridge resonances by up to fifty percent, while an adaptive anti skating mechanism balances forces across the inner and outer record grooves.

Rotational stability begins with a precision belt drive system built around an aluminum motor pulley machined to a tolerance of one over one thousand millimeters. Power delivery relies on an internal DC to AC generator, which converts raw electrical input into a clean, regulated AC waveform for the motor. This isolates the turntable from erratic household voltage fluctuations and mains noise. A dedicated TPE motor suspension further decouples the motor from the high quality MDF chassis. The smooth spinning three hundred millimeter, one point seven kilogram heavy steel platter works alongside a stainless steel axle in a brass bushing to provide consistent timing and low wow and flutter.

Signal transfer relies on a pre adjusted Pick it S2 MM cartridge, designed by Ortofon and voiced by Pro-Ject. Featuring split pole pins and an elliptical stylus tip, the cartridge tracks vinyl grooves accurately across thirty three and forty five RPM speeds. For seamless integration into a wider sound system setup, the turntable includes a semi symmetrical Connect it Phono E RCA cable with metal connectors, gold plated RCA terminals, a dust cover, and a felt mat.
