Also, please check the version of the software that is available on the Arcam site before you set up your processor. We have proactively updated your processor to version 1.22 which we have tested and know works well. However, you should update to the newest software before you begin any setup as they will do a few more software updates over time with more functionality. You can find the unit software at on the Arcam website. Since we have already done the primary update, any updates going forward should be relatively straightforward - instructions come when you download the firmware. Our CEO has personally lived with this processor for several months now and it sounds fantastic. A few key things to know. First, if you use Dirac to calibrate the processor, please unplug any control systems like Savant or Crestron as they could disrupt the communication during the process. Second, make sure your room is set up exactly as you will use it with everything turned off like fans, HVAC, or anything else that creates background noise when you calibrate. Third, if you make curve adjustments using Dirac, you should keep adjustments to approximate 6db or less. Also, if you use a control system to control the device, you will want to go into the HDMI settings and adjust the HDMI bypass to turn it from Low Power to HDMI Bypass and IP on. This will enable the control system to wake up the processor.
