We are super excited to announce Control4 has combined Intercom Anywhere with the Control4 OS3 app for the iPhone. This enhancement to the Control4 app greatly improves your Intercom experience. No longer do you have to jump apps to use your intercom; it is all managed from one easy-to-use interface.
To help you experience this new platform we are providing instructions and a video for easy setup. As always should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our service department to help assist you with this process.
On October 19th, 2021 the Control4 App for iOS v321.40 went live, which includes Intercom Anywhere built into the Control4 app. There are a couple of steps you must take to enable Intercom Everywhere:
When opening the Control4 App, you will be asked to approve:
Intercom might not immediately appear in the Control4 Menu (C4 icon top left). There are a few more steps to complete:
You may now delete the Intercom Anywhere App. If you do not, both apps will ring.
On December 7th, the Intercom Anywhere App will no longer be functional for systems running OS 3.x
The Intercom Anywhere App will still be accessible for download and use for anyone still running OS 2.x
