Overview

Onkyo builds on the success of its A-9010 pre-main amp with the new A-9110 Integrated Stereo Amplifier, a component that refines an original amp design that's won an excellent critical and commercial reputation for dynamic, musical sound. Lively dynamics, deep bass, and layered detail emerge from warm and expressive tuning. WRAT delivers high-current power stability via large custom capacitors, while low-NFB amps capture the depth and spatiality of analog and hi-res recordings. Five RCA inputs including MM phono stage connect your sources while high-quality speaker-posts reveal Onkyo's hi-fi heritage and careful attention to detail. The A-9110 invites you into each album, the hours passing comfortably in pure analog sound.

Looks good…

No physical damage. Got to get it hooked up. Will call if the need should arise. Thanx.

great value

I used to sell Jolida and Black Ice Audio tube gear. This amp sounds as good or better than those amps. No need to spend a fortune on amps. This amp will be great. I never listen to vinyl. Only CDs or streaming for years.

I have mixed feelings about this integrated amplifier

This is a nice looking integrated amp that seems to be made of high quality materials, and it is certainly priced right. However, I'm mostly disappointed with the way it sounds. I have it paired with an Onkyo C-7030 CD player and that combination is excellent. What I'm not satisfied with is the phono input, or, quite honestly, the way a turntable sounds no matter how I connect one. I feel like the sound of this amp with a turntable is dull and lifeless, even when I use a high quality external preamp. I can't listen to vinyl without using the tone controls to boost the treble, and I feel like I shouldn't have to. I'm going to continue to use it in the hope that it will break in and eventually sound better, but two months in I'm mostly disappointed.
