This video is designed so you can perfectly set lip-sync in your home theater. In this video, you will see a bar moving across a timeline and you should hear a beep every time the bar crosses the zero mark. If you hear the beep before the bar crosses, then you will increase your delay in your home theater receiver.
The first 1 minute of the video uses a 300-millisecond timeline so you can get your setting close. Once you’ve gotten close, wait and you’ll see we switch to a 30-millisecond timeline for the second minute of the video so you can nail it perfectly. You will want to watch this video from each of your inputs to your home theater receiver and set them all individually as each device such as your AppleTV or Roku could have a slightly different delay.
