Overview
Drawing on 40 years of making records at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, the new MoFi Electronics divisions is focused on improving the sonic integrity of audio reproductions in the home. The products are the result of multiple collaborations with some of the world's best audio designers, stemming from decades of experience in the studio.
The new StudioPhono replicates the wide bandwidth transparency MoFi's mastering engineers demand. The circuits are based on ideas first applied to the GAIN 2 mastering chain at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Developed by engineer Tim de Paravicini, StudioPhono plays music with crystalline clarity and involving realism.

Adjustments Galore
With several loading options for moving coil cartridges, adjustable gain, and a mono switch, you can grow with the Studio Phono as your turntable improves. Plus its switchable subsonic filter can be really handy in some situations.
Elegant Form Factor
The Studio Phono has a cool form factor that can fit right behind your turntable, but you may want to show it off. We love the little yellow light that pays homage to the classic Studor 24 track reel to reel audio recorder many studios used in the 1970s.
Adjustable Gain and Loading
With selectable gain and loading, you will be able to tailor StudioPhono to match nearly any moving-magnet or moving-coil cartridge on the market. A readily accessible bank of toggle switches can be found on the unit's underside to quickly make adjustments without the need for any tools.
Mono and Subsonic Filter Mode
Two selectable toggle buttons on the top of the unit can engage Mono or Subsonic filter mode. If you're a fan of mono recordings, vintage or reissues like the Beatles in Mono box set or the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Bob Dylan Series, the Mono mode will come as a revelation. It will improve image stability and generate a richer tone.
