Traditional outdoor speaker solutions are typically not used with a subwoofer and rarely have enough channels to cover an area evenly. This results in listeners having to turn the volume up to get adequate sound where it is needed, often resulting in noise complaints. With the Satellite + Subwoofer design of the Outdoor Living series, the bass is handled by a dedicated sub that uses a specially designed port and hood to evenly distribute bass within a listening area. This not only removes a lot of stress from the other speakers, but it also means you get an incredibly full-range sound at ALL volumes. Since the bass is being handled by a sub, the other speakers can also be much smaller, making them easier to hide while still providing great sound. Using more speakers ensures that sound is more evenly distributed throughout your yard and allows the system to be more easily heard at lower listening levels, something traditional setups typically struggle with.

The system all but disappears in your landscaping and can be easily powered by a typical stereo amplifier. System & Installation

You won’t need special amplifiers to power Outdoor Living Foundation. If you already have a powered second zone-enabled AV receiver or another stereo amplifier, then you have the necessary electronics. Of course, you can step up to a dedicated power amp for even better performance. Outdoor Living Foundation is easy to install with stakes and speaker housings that assemble without tools. All that’s needed to finish the job is a shovel, a pair of wire strippers, and speaker cable.
