AudioQuest Grayhound
Subwoofer Cable
Item #AQ:GHOUND
Overview
The Grayhound subwoofer cable uses a perfect circle of eight negative conductors that spiral around a single larger positive conductor, creating a cable with a large cross-sectional area, minimizing skin effect, and providing low resistance. Uses solid 0.5% silver conductors that eliminate strand-interaction distortion, reduce jitter, and are very close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced much closer to solid copper cable.
- Grayhound uses air-filled Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation on both conductors because air absorbs next to no energy and Polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile.
- Noise-Dissipation System prevents a significant amount of RFI from reaching the equipment 's ground plane.

- Cold-welded gold-plated plugs are stamped instead of machined for low distortion.
