It's built on a solid MDF plinth which is finished in black vinyl veneer and sits on elastomer vibration absorbers in the feet to minimise any unwanted interference. At the heart of the unit is a die cast aluminium platter which turns on a hardened steel spindle within a brass bushing and is topped with a substantial rubber mat for excellent resonance damping.

Playback stability is achieved through a DC motor which is decoupled via rubber mountings and the platter is turned by a precision cut belt (this results in very low wow and flutter). The speed can be selected easily between 33, 45 and 78 RPM via a dedicated rotary switch. Tracking is done by a straight, statically balanced aluminium tonearm with ball bearings, a damped lift and spring loaded antiskating which is calibrated by a stepless rotary knob.

Integration into an existing sound system is very simple. The factory fitted Ortofon 2M Red cartridge gives you perfectly balanced sound right out of the box and is attached to a removable headshell for ease of maintenance. It has an internal, switchable MM phono preamp so it can be connected directly to either a line level or dedicated phono RCA input. Comes with a 5 year warranty and is protected by a removable dust cover.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0572/3281/8260/files/DualCS418BeltDriveManualTurntable_6.png?v=1793005201
