The completely redone Gen 2 Folded Motion XT tweeter is even faster and lower in distortion than ever before. With over twice the surface area of the Motion tweeter, the XT version is even more transparent. The new waveguide improves dispersion to fill up your room with that famous MartinLogan clarity.
Fantastic New Kevlar & Nomex Driver Design
The combination Kevlar and Nomex driver to our ears sounds fantastic. When you couple the subtle midrange nuances it allows you to hear with the extremely transparent folded motion XT tweeter, you can tell MartinLogan got close to the sound of their true electrostatics with these new models

Motion XT F200 Floorstanding Speakers
For the two tower XT models, they all use 3 aluminum cone bass drivers coupled with that great Nomex Reinforced Kevlar midrange and the larger XT tweeter. The big difference between the XT F100 and XT F200 is the XT F100 uses 3 6.5” drivers while the XT F200 uses 3 8” versions. The bigger woofers get you about 4 Hz more extension down to 27Hz compared to 31Hz, but like the other series, the bigger ones to our ears just had far more slam even though they have the same great sensitivity rating of 92db.

Tower models feature tool-less height adjustability utilizing rubber feet or spikes, allowing the user to level the speaker for maximum stability on any floor perfectly. Built-in anti-vibration properties lower distortion by reducing 'judders' between the speaker and the floor, leaving nothing but pure sound.
