The Performance of Separates In One Elegant Package
The Fives take the best tech from the famous Klipsch Reference Premiere series and integrate it with almost 75 years of award-winning acoustic design to create an amazing all in one speaker. These have the amplifier tech you would normally get in a separate amp, with speaker drivers usually found in great bookshelf speakers delivering the sound and performance of separate components in an elegant package.

Connectivity for the Modern and Retro World
With HDMI-ARC you’ll have the first powered speakers with this great TV connectivity Add in Bluetooth streaming, an upgraded premium phono preamp, and digital optical, Hi-Res USB, and analog line inputs and you’ve got all your musical bases covered!

Beautiful Luxury Finishing Touches
The Fives combine hand-crafted real wood finishes with a unique retro control wheel system that gives you luxury design with great user experience. We also love the look of the grills, inspired by classic Klipsch speakers of decades ago.
Everything a Powered Speaker Should Be
Klipsch has taken their classic performance guidelines they have perfected over the last 75 years and combined them with all of the latest technology to deliver a powered speaker that will bring a smile to your face the first time you hear them. The new Fives are retro beautiful, compact, and have all the latest inputs for the modern world or old school vinyl. Their compact size allows them to fit on your desktop, but their huge sound will fill up a large room.
Great for Music or TV Sound
With their flexible inputs, you can use the Fives for music or up your TV sound to make movies and gaming far more realistic. Connecting to your TV is super simple with three possible options. When you can spread your speakers to the sides of your TV, you’ll get a lot bigger sound than you’d get from a typical soundbar.
Speaker Technology From Reference Premiere Klipsch Speakers
The tweeters come from their Reference Premiere series.using their 1” LTS ceramic vented, titanium tweeters with their Tractrix® horn. That’s a mouthful, but this is a very well-proven tweeter you’ll find on Klipsch speakers costing far more than the Five’s. It has a classic Klipsch big sound. The woofer used is a 4 ½’ long-throw woofer which also comes from their Reference Premiere series. Klipsch beefed it up with a 1 ½” voice coil and its long-throw coupled with the Tractrix® bass port gives us bass down to 50hz, which is very impressive for its size.
Inputs for Everyone
Today's music world can have many demands to cover all the bases. Klipsch has you totally covered with Bluetooth, Analog audio, Toslink digital, Hi-Res Audio USB, HDMI ARC, and a much upgraded from the previous model phono preamp for vinyl lovers. If you do not need a phono input you can flip a switch and add another analog in.
Understanding the Beauty of HDMI-ARC
HDMI-ARC is a new type of input that allows you to send sound from an HDMI-ARC connection on your TV directly to the Fives, making them a great fit for TV sound as you can spread them apart. The beauty comes in with the ARC technology. When connected to a TV with ARC capability (and most all recent TV’s have this), the TV remote control will turn on the Fives, select the HDMI input, and control volume and mute. This makes them a super choice for supplementing your TV sound for movies and gaming plus think how easy it will be to use the music apps on your smart TV with the Fives if set up this way!.
Classic Klipsch Sound
Klipsch speakers are known for big, room-filling sound that can rock the house. The Fives deliver on this very well with their long-throw woofer coupled to the Tractrix® port. The Tractrix® tweeter delivers smooth sound with a big soundstage that reminds us of one of our favorite Klipsch bookshelf speakers, the award-winning RP-600M.
Retro Controls
Most powered speakers have the input selector on the back or have you use a remote to select volume and sources. The Fives took a great retro approach and have two large embedded wheels you simply turn to select the input you wish and control the volume. This makes quick changes happen instantly. They also include a handheld remote control as well. We have to say, we love the look of the embedded turning wheels.
Low Volume is Beautiful
While the Fives can rock out, they also totally surprised us at how great they sounded at very low listening levels. Most speakers lose their bass warmth when you turn them way back, but not so with the Fives. This makes them fantastic for desktop use when you just want low-level background music that sounds great. We suspect this great low-level sound has a lot to do with the fact they use real bi-amp technology
True BiAmped Technology
Biamping means you actually have a separate amplifier for the tweeter and another one for the woofer. This eliminates the passive crossover and always seems to make speakers sound far more effortless than passive speakers do, and keeps them sounding good even when the volume gets really low. Klipsch uses a 60-watt amp for each woofer and a 20-watt amp for each tweeter, delivering very pure, clean sound.
Real Subwoofer Control
One big advantage beside much more bass of adding a subwoofer is taking the bass away from the main speakers so they open up more. Most all powered speakers we see if they have a subwoofer output, don’t do anything about taking the bass out of the small speakers if you connect a sub. The Fives have intelligent circuitry that rolls the deep bass away from them when you plug in a subwoofer. To our ears, this feature improves the midrange quite a bit.
Flexible Placement
All powered speakers have the amps and connections built into one speaker and a cable connecting the other. Most force you to put the one with everything on the left or right side. But what happens if say your turntable needs to be on the left and all the connections are on the right speaker? With the Fives, it's super simple, you just flip a switch to flip the left and right!
Beautiful Finish Options
The Fives come in a walnut veneer or black ash finish with magnetic grills. This means you can pull the grills off and not see any pins or holes for the grills, giving them a great look. The grill cloth comes from the look of some classic Klipsch speakers from decades ago, which gives them a pretty cool vintage look.
HDMI-ARC
Using HDMI-ARC, enjoy The Fives with your TV with no additional cables or remotes using the included HDMI cable.
MID-CENTURY MAGNIFICENT
Incorporating luxury materials such as real wood veneer and tactile switches and knobs, the Klipsch Heritage Wireless series of powered audio systems blends the acoustics and classic design legacy of Paul W. Klipsch with the latest technologies available today.
EXPERIENCE TRUE HIGH FIDELITY — NO RECEIVER NECESSARY
The Fives powered monitors deliver room-filling sound without taking up much space thanks to a built-in amplifier that is custom-engineered for these high-performance speakers, maximizing output and sound quality
HIGH EFFICIENCY AMPLIFICATION
The Fives incorporate individual ultra-low noise amplifiers that are custom designed to maximize system performance and eliminate the need for external amplification. World-class Klipsch engineers picked and tuned the components to be an absolute perfect match throughout, making the system sound incredibly immersive and complete. The Fives are also bi-amped resulting in improved clarity and output.
PRECISE, CLEAR & HIGHLY EFFICIENT SOUND, PROPRIETARY TO KLIPSCH
The Fives feature 1” titanium tweeters on Tractrix® horns, a proprietary technology that has been the driving force behind the stunningly precise Klipsch acoustics. Each powered monitor also features a 4.5” long-throw woofer and is ported to provide enhanced bass.
THE MOST VERSATILE SPEAKERS ON THE PLANET
Whether you are connecting to a turntable, television, computer, or smart phone, The Fives provide the solution. The Fives come equipped with an integrated phono pre-amp, Bluetooth® 5, HDMI-ARC, digital optical, analog RCA and USB inputs, allowing you to enjoy superior stereo sound from a beautifully crafted tabletop stereo system.
DYNAMIC BASS EQ
As the human ear perceives frequencies differently with variations in output, The Fives will dynamically match the ear’s ability to hear lower frequencies. Typically, only available with audio/video receivers, dynamic volume is a first for Klipsch powered monitors. What you get is powerful bass whether the listening volume is low, cranked up or somewhere in between.
192KHZ / 24-BIT DECODING TO SUPPORT HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO TRACKS
The Fives powered monitors also feature 192kHz / 24-bit decoding for flawless reproduction of high-resolution audio tracks from your PC or streaming source.
ADD A SUBWOOFER
The Fives include a subwoofer output so you can easily add a powered subwoofer.
