At our recent Music Matters I had the pleasure of listening to the new Peachtree Grand Integrated amp at both of our locations. In Raleigh, we really put it to the test, driving a pair of the great Wilson Audio Sophia 3’s. This new amp is somewhat of a breakthrough. It accomplishes two things in its very compact package. While its price of $4499 is not cheap, it actually is when you understand all it can do.

If you are looking to put together a great sounding music system, you will typically need a power amp to drive the speakers, a preamp to control your various incoming sources, and some sort of DAC to convert your digital sources to analog for the preamp. Well, the Peachtree Grand Integrated does this all in one compact package! It’s got 440 watts per channel, a great preamp section, and one of the best USB DACs on the market. All you need is your computer audio files, a great pair of speakers, the Grand Integrated, and you are off to the races!

Another big accomplishment with the Grand Integrated: you can put together a great sounding high performance system for far less than in the past. It can drive just about any pair of speakers out there. Instead of investing a lot into a stack of separates, with the Grand Integrated, you’ve got a lot left over for better speakers. And who doesn’t want better speakers? ┬áThe Grand Integrated easily drives any of the fantastic Wilson or B&W 800 Series speakers, so the price of entry for a true high performance audio system has dropped with the Grand Slam of the Grand Integrated!
