What sets your people apart, aside from their technical expertise and depth of knowledge, is their passion for what they do. It is obvious that it is not just a job for them, but something they love doing. Very satisfied experience. From the very beginning, everybody I have dealt with has been very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I really enjoyed dealing with Kyle. He listened well and then put together a good system for me. Installation was excellent. With investing as much as I did in my system, I spent considerable time verifying the hardware installed, reviewing reviews, and price comparing. Just a quick note as a follow up to the installation performed by Ryan & Steve at our home 12/27/11. The experience was, without a doubt, one of the best we have ever had having an installer of any kind at our home. They were not only on time (a rarity in its self ) but completed the work needed in a professional manner. These gentlemen worked will as a team or independently on our install and did a great job. The fact that a great deal of respect was shown for our home and my family start to finish speaks also to the level of quality work these men performed. Upon completion of their work they explained the operation of our new system & the remote at a level we could grasp. At the days end you could not tell that Ryan and Steve had even been there except for the fact the new flat screen tv and etc. had been added. I’ve known Keegan for a number of years. Matter of fact, when he was working the showroom floor at Audio Advice, he introduced me to the Lexicon DC1. Keegan later played an integral role in my decision to purchase the Lexcion MC1. I’m still enjoying that piece today! After my wife and I recently moved into our new home in Wake Forest, NC, we called Keegan to customize our home audio/video. As always he responded immediately. Within a few hours of my accepting the proposal he and his team presented, we had a working system that we LOVE. It is the first one my wife can operate without my help. She and I enjoy listening to music from all around the world all the time now. We truly believe this Sonos system sounds much better than our Speakercraft system we left in our old home! When Bill came by the house to make recommendations, he was thorough, covering every aspect of what we needed to make our home audio/video entertainment seamless and pleasurable. Within the next day or so, he sent me an itemized proposal with many of the available options to choose from. Also, he made quick arrangements with Audio Advice to replace my speaker wire which was too short in the new house. He called me within hours to let me now the wires were ready. I purchased and installed them before Sunday when my friends and family watched NFL football in the new house for the first time. Bill is awesome! My wife is a hard grader, but she gave Ken the highest marks. She said he was professional, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable while installing the system. When I got home to see it, my wife explained it clearly within a few minutes. The Sonos Zone Player 120s look really nice on the shelf, and Ken did a fabulous job installing everything neatly. That is one of the reasons why we count on Audio Advice. I have always been happy with Audio Advice – Keegan especially. He has the remarkable ability to relate to people of all ages. He’s top notch. I am writing this email to make you aware of the excellent help I received from your company on my home security system.  I had an incident with my security system earlier in the week which made me realize that my security alarm system was not working properly.  This was caused by a change I made to my phone  and internet service.  Your technician was very professional, competent  and clearly experienced. I want to thank you for the assistance you provided in putting together my new stereo system. I started with many preconceptions, some about the kind of sound I was after and others about how I thought it would be achieved. Every step of the way, you listened to my goals and provided opportunities for me to challenge my preconceptions. I could tell that you were a little amused by my less informed opinions on equipment, but you had patience and let me discover for myself that better equipment can make a big difference. I was particularly amazed to learn what a big difference the Transparent interconnect cables  made. Before doing a serious comparison, I scoffed at these kinds of cables as high-priced snake  oil. But they truly deliver a cleaner, smoother sound that is more musical and more enjoyable.  After considerable comparison, it was a no-brainer that they truly are worth the money. I liken  these to the L-series lenses I buy for my Canon DSLRs. Like the Transparent cables, they do the same thing the cheaper alternatives do, but the end result is so much more lifelike and vivid. Still, when I brought them home, my wife gave me the “Jack and Beanstalk” treatment. If I had brought home magic beans for the stereo, she wouldn’t have been more skeptical. I kept expecting her to throw them out the window only to find a giant Transparent cable-stalk growing  up through the clouds the next day. In this era of web stores and commodity components, you and Audio Advise rise above the  rest to provide a place where people can go and make an intelligent, informed decision on what equipment sounds good to them. I want to listen to something before I buy it and compare it to other items near my price range to make sure that what I’m buying represents the best sound for my budget.  Thank your for guiding me through this process. We are very impressed with the staff at Audio Advice. Dave came out this evening and spent a few hours with my husband and me making sure our computers were transitioning correctly. He was very patient and unhurried, despite having been at a job in Fort Mill all day. He definitely knows what he is doing and displays a can do attitude. The other employees Steve, Jason and one more that I regret I can not recall his name have also been professional and top notch. Your company is definitely many steps ahead of others. Ok, hello all. I will start this off by saying I am not the best customer. I have been in IT for 20 years, do tons of research, and think I know a lot about things before I go shopping. That makes it hard to work with me sometimes, and has caused me problems in the past. NOT at Audio Advice. I had the pleasure of working with Chip Johnson. I went in to just look around. I walked out with an Integra DTR, and later went back and bought my new projector from them. I tend to be a DIY guy. I WANT to learn as I go, but I would like to learn in a way that does not cost me a ton of money. I built a set of speakers that I love. Instead of “ripping on” me about DIY, Chip understood that some of us like the challenge. I built my own screen, and so far have loved it. Again, instead of trying to look down at the concept of a DIY screen, Chip made sure to talk to me about challenges I may encounter, and solutions to problems. He discussed projector options that would minimize any impact on my veiwing experience, and he understood that I can’t just walk in and drop $150000 for my dream theater, but did help me to buy components that have the ability to be used in my next room, as well as working in my current room. Do not hesitate to do business with Audio Advice, stop by the showroom for a demo, or a chat, and whatever you do, don’t worry about asking the question that has been bothering you. I will continue to buy from them as I upgrade different parts of my systems. – John

My experience with Audio advice is an A+. They installed a media room while I was away on vacation. I came back and everything was working perfectly. Dustin Clemens called after the installation and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. I’ve been using my media room for a while and have been able to call him for trivial things and i have been priority for him. I’m not the best at technology and i’m sure i’ve asked silly questions…. and he’s always answered my questions & provided above and beyond service. I thought audio advice product selection was superior. My salesman & technicians were knowledgeable and provided outstanding service. When it comes to audio and video equipment its just not about price, though Audio Advice does have a range of products to suit just about every need. I am a very satisfied customer because when purchasing high end equipment, installation, service, knowledge, education, i.e how to maximize the use of what you purchased is key to get the full enjoyment of your system, not just price. Dustin Clemens was my rep and he did a fantastic job of listening to my needs and sending via email quotes and answers to my questions, just great service. I am a tough customer to satisfy. My old system was in a rack and the back of the rack had cables that looked like a plate of spagetti, and when the David Stephens and Chris Kieffer (installers) got finished it looked fantastic. Cables were tight to the rack, and a very clean organized look. Its the attention to detail such as this that separates the men from the boys. Especially if you are going to spend some dollars on a nice system. Also Dustin followed up after the sale and install just to make sure I was still satisfied and did not forget any of new tricks he showed me on leveraging and managing my music with my new toys. I had Apple Mac mini, sonos, IPad, new amp, and new Integra processor new rear porch speakers, Panasonic 55″ plasma for my family room surround system installed in addition to some minor work on my bedroom and kids room systems. You need a company with experience and a knowledgeable staff because at the end of the day, you will have the urge to upgrade down the road. You need to invest in a smart way so that your system can get better as you get better with minimal loss of dollars. That’s why it’s not just about price! My system not only sounds great it looks great and I know how to use it. – Will Iam2

This business knows how to take care of their customers. They have stood by me and helped me achieve what I thought was not possible. Audio Advice sets the bar when it comes to technical knowledge and skill and customer support. I recently upgrade my system components and after a month of break in time, Leon came out to my home and spent 3 hours tuning my system, teaching me how to use the equipment and answering every question I could ask. Your installers were very courteous and professional and your sales team was very helpful throughout the planning process. 2. Resolving the issue with my intercom system. I spent months trying to get the system fixed with the original company that installed it, but with no luck whatsoever. I explained my problem to Kyle and he quickly moved to take steps to get it fixed. Within a short time, Jason was at my home troublshooting the problem and was successful in ultimately getting the unit replaced. I am happy to say everything is working fine! I am writing to heartily recommend sales person – Mark Kess and Audio Advice/Zobo TV. After an extensive research and bid process (got bids from 6 professional installers), I purchased a complete surround sound system set up for our livingroom and soundbar for my bedroom. Also purchased the fully programed recommended remotes for each that work first time every time (no small miracle) just as he said they would. Mark’s depth of knowledge, integrity,and availability stood out clearly to me, as it later did with the installation team. Simply put Mark maximized the cost/benefit ratio and then clearly explained what he recommending and why it best fit our wants/needs. He also checked in during the installation process. Then, after giving us a week or so to live with it, Mark came back to answer any questions and do a final ‘tweak’ of the systems. . We could not be happier with Audio Advice/Zobo’s work, and I recommend them without reservation. –Chris

I have dealt with the Raleigh location for over 25 years, since it was in a small space in a strip mall. The store has grown, but the service has not suffered. They provide the same friendly, knowledgable advice that they always have. You don’t have to worry about sorting through all the confusing brand, style and configuration choices available. You just tell the sales person what you are looking for, how much you want to spend and they will put together exactly what you need. Now they have a Charlotte location and I don’t have to travel all the way across the state for my stereo needs. I just call DUSTIN CLEMENS and tell him I have the itch for new stuff and he takes care of everything, even going above and beyond the call of duty by coming to my house and helping me find the best location for my speakers. He knows stereo and home theater choices inside out. Ask for him. You can’t do better. – Thomas

Great Place and Knowledgeable Staff!! Please don’t go to Best Buy go to Audio Advice!! – I have been using Audio Advice for years and buy all of my equipment from them. The location is the old Tweeter building behind Carolina Place Mall but Audio Advice has nothing to do with that horrible chain. Audio Advice’s staff is the most knowledgeable and friendliest staff and is always there to help. Best People, Best Store, Best Service I have been dealing with Audio Advice for nearly 30 years. To say every aspect of this business is the best seems to minimize how good they really are. Just this week I had an issue with one of my products… in typical AA fashion they contacted the vendor directly, pleaded my case, and we were all shocked when the vendor agreed and paid for a fix. You get to know these folks by their first names because they never leave… Eric this time was excellent, but they all are. If you are looking for entry level systems or need an explanation of why that silly looking cable costs $10000, these folks are the experts. Last Thursday, Mr. Jason Germain made a service call to repair my home theatre system. I did not know what to expect because this was my first experience with Audio Advice. My concern was heightened because I knew that programing my remote control could take an inordinate amount of time, and I hate large walletectomies. Mr. Germain, Jason, asked me the problem. I told him what was wrong. He looked at the set-up, got the tools that he needed off the truck, and reprogramed the remote. He fixed what was not working and improved the performance of what was working. I watched. He was meticulous. Wires were neatly wrapped. I told Jason that I intended to ask for him when I had future audio system service needs.  My experience with technicians has not all been good. I did want to let you know that this service experience has been outstanding. I have found a tech that I respect. When my needs are maintenance, repair or service my request will be for Jason Germain.–Ted

Praise…Nothing but praise for Audio Advice in Charlotte.  After dealing with high end audio dealers since  1973, no one has ever given the comprehensive service found at Audio Advice.  Leon, you should be  proud of these guys! Todd Smith has always had sound and honest advice as how new technology would improve my system. John Price has a good ear and knows turntables (especially Linn). Ryan Meacham has eyes and ears to set up and adjust an audio/video system like no one else I’ve known. Your operations manager, Dusty Kovar, is always so prompt at getting service technicians on the site. Lastly, at the 2010 Audio Advice vendors show earlier this year, I was able to talk with the B&W representative about the sound stage problems in my long rectangular room.  He confirmed Todd Smith’s opinion that I change out the NHT rear ceiling speakers for directional B&W’s.  Now for the first time ever, I have real surround sound! What a team at Audio Advice of Charlotte!  Thanks for all you have done to make my home entertainment system a joy. -Paul
