Audio Advice Security Systems are All Systems Go with the new 919 dialing
If you live in the Triangle, you have probably seen the press on the addition of new area code 984 to the old area code 919. Area residents now need to dial area code number 919 or 984 (depending on your location) as the prefix to your seven digit phone number. This means dialing ten digits for local calls (as of April 1, 2012). There have been several articles in local papers about the need to contact your security company to have them reprogram your alarm panel to accomodate the new dialing procedure. We’ve been getting about 2-4 calls per day about this issue.
New Area Codes for NC
Well, there is good news. Any security system set up by Audio Advice does not need anything done to it for the new 919 dialing procedure! Everyone in the Audio Advice security family can rest easy.
